Here is the transcript of the video:

Emily was born in Santa Monica, California and moved to Oregon when sge was 2 and has spent the last three years in northern Michigan.

Upcycling has been a constant in her life starting with her grandma that owned an auction house in Astoria, Oregon. Emily's mom has been doing eBay since it started. so she grew up around garage sales, state sales, thrift stores,.... you name it!

Interesting fact, she started up cycling beer caps when she was a teenager because I didn’t like that people threw away beer caps cause she thought they were cool.

Her sewing adventures began 2 years ago because she simply wanted warm cozy things to wear and she wasn’t finding anything in the stores to her liking. So after thrifting a couple blankets & turning them into hoodies she had it down. Oh and she still wears them to this day!

Emily strives to be sustainable in all parts of her life. In the kitchen they use dish towels for everything instead of paper towels and napkins.
